Installation of a new (gem of a used) machine for our transload customer in Worcester. This JD machine replaces the same model previously in place, see process pictures. Originally designed for use on a skid steer, the original machine lasted 26 years and moved hundreds of thousands of pounds of material. We made the following modifications to the new machine prior to install: inspect and test all components, replace and reseal components as necessary, remove skid steer mounting plates, design fabricate and install hopper mounting plates and gusset, design fabricate and install operator platform with fall protection and removable aluminum section for service, relocate electric motor pump and hydraulic tank into box and replumb, paint. #olearywelding #johndeere #transload #modify

Fun project for our transload customer in Worcester, MA. Problem: get into the train cart when empty to install a plastic liner, then get into the cart once full to close up the liner. Solution: hydraulic actuated stairs with hinged treads and railings to access both levels and pin up and out of the way when moving carts along the tracks. 360 degree fall protection railings for when on top of a loaded cart. #olearywelding #hydraulic #hydraulicstairs #designbuildinstall
